Good news on all fronts. Water temps. are perfect, insects are hatching (Giant Stones, Caddis, BWO, Sulphurs) and fish are biting. Reports from all over of fish being caught. 3 trips on the Vermont side this holiday weekend. Took Tim C. to the Black River on Saturday 28th. River is still a bit high from all the rain, but water temp was 60 degrees. Had to nymph and only hits came on a Hare’s Ear or Pheasant Tail nymph. We fished them as droppers [...]
