About Hanover Outdoors

Hanover Outdoors (formerly Lyme Angler) is located in downtown Hanover, the home of Dartmouth College. In 2005, we relocated to a larger and newly renovated building at 17 ½ Lebanon St. As part of our move, we expanded our scope to include products from some of the finest manufacturers of outdoor clothing and gear available. With new names such as Asolo, Eberlestock, Granger, Hestra, Ibex, Mountain Khaki's, Outdoor Research and Mountain Hardware added to our previous lines from Barbour, Ex Officio, Orvis, Patagonia and Swiss Army, we have something that you need no matter what the nature your outdoor pursuits.

We continue to be the authorities on fly fishing in the Dartmouth-Sunapee region. In addition to being a full line ORVIS dealer, we have expanded our fishing lines to include Temple Fork and Tibor. We have also begun to add gear for spin fisherman from Shimano, Mepps and Rapala.

Our employees are all outdoor enthusiasts and include Rick Hamel (Orvis endorsed guide), Ron Rhodes (local TU chapter president) and Alan Briere (noted wildlife photographer). Our employees are not only local experts but have experience in fly fishing from California to Maine and from Patagonia to Labrador.
