Due to an exploding demand for saddle hackle, which is now being used in women’s hairstyles as extensions, supply & wholesale prices have become unpredictable at best. Our suppliers indicate that it might be a year and a half before high quality saddled hackle will be available!!!
Fly tyers please know that we have been called and asked to sell all of our saddles to hair dressers out West but we have refused to do so (unlike some fly shops)! We will not raise our prices on saddle hackle either.

Received our first call from the east coast today. A woman in MA who owns a hair salon called to inquire about purchasing our saddle hackles. We politely declined. She said she understood and that as a business owner she agrees that you have to take care of your loyal customers first.
