Due to the spread of Didymo and other invasive species, the State of Vermont has banned the use of FELT soled wading boots in all Vermont waters effective April 1st.
As a result of the new ban, Hanover Outdoors is offering a special boot swap deal to our customers. See below for details. And thank you for doing your part to keep our fisheries healthy!
Bring in your FELT soled wading boots and swap them for a new pair of studded, sticky rubber boots and RECEIVE A 25% DISCOUNT.
This offer is ONLY good between Friday April 1st (the day the ban goes into effect) and Saturday April 9th (opening day of trout season in Vermont).
We have Orvis, Simms and Grey’s boots in stock. If we do not have the style or size you want, we will order them for you (on or about April 9th). And you will still get the discount if you trade in a pair of FELT boots.

Fishing season is getting underway slowly this year. A few reports of walleye being caught on the Conn. River, but not much else. Smelt run on the Mascoma has not started yet. No reports of Salmon being caught yet. Stay tuned and pray for warmer weather and no more snow!
