In New England many people equate the Fall with foilage, but others think of hunting season. If you are a hunter you probably already have a good idea of the dates and regulations for NH and VT.
If you are not a hunter, but still like to go for walks or hikes in the woods it pays to know who else might be out there with you. And, as always, wearing a blaze orange hat or jacket is a smart thing!
Right now in NH, it is archery season for deer and turkey. It is also legal to hunt pheasant and other small game (check the reg book for details for grouse, rabbit etc. as dates differ).
