We’ve had some rain which is good in the long run for flows as we head into summer. However, it can also screw up your plans for the day (especially if you are fishing a river with dams on it).
Steve tried to float the Connecticut last night but couldn’t due to the high flows, and the lower Ottauquechee was very cloudy the other day due to releases.
On the other hand, the Mascoma has been fishing well (see pic below) because they were NOT releasing water out of the lake. But of course that could change at any moment.
The White was a bit cloudy the other day after an inch of rain over night, but is beginning to clear up. And if you are up for a trip this weekend, Seth reports good fishing in the Upper Connecticut region (see his Brookie pic).
